1 - Sankt Moritz, Switzerland

It is located in the Engadine Valley amidst the beautiful backdrop of the Swiss Alps that make it a truly picturesque and evocative place, where competitions and games are hosted every year throughout the cold season, for example it has twice hosted the Winter Olympic Games.
In February, you can attend various events such as Cricket on Ice and White Turf, culinary events such as The Tasting, Chocolate Cult and Gourmet Festival: Wine & Cheese.
As far as sports facilities are concerned, the resort boasts a frozen lake on which to skate, a bobsleigh run made of natural ice and many ski and snowboard slopes including Corviglia, Diavolezza and Corvatsch.

2 - Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria

It'sAustria's most famous ski resort, located in the Kitzbühel Alps, together with Leogang and Fieberbrunn, with which they form one huge ski area.
As many as 200 km of slopes, 55 ski lifts and 10 cross-country ski runs!
Numerous world cups are organised every year, and there are plenty of clubs offering daily apres-ski until late at night. There are also a number of hotels and resorts with wellness centres and relaxation packages.

3 - Val Thorens, France

neve a val thorens This is a ski resort in the Les Trois Vallees ski area, one of the largest in the world, located at an altitude of 2,300 metres and with no less than 600 km of slopes, including toboggan runs, ice racing, snow parks and all types of skiing (downhill, mountaineering, cross-country, etc).

In addition to the wide range of winter sports on offer, Val Thorens also offers snowmobile tours and a good choice of bars, pubs and discos where live music with local DJs and bands is played every night, making it ideal for those interested in something other than sport.

4 - Borovets, Bulgaria

borovets pista da sci Not everyone knows it, it is in fact a lesser-known ski resort in Bulgaria, in the Rila mountain range, 70km from the capital Sofia.

The area is not yet that big, but it is still well equipped for cross-country, Nordic and alpine skiing.
In 1993 it also hosted the World Biathlon Championships and in 2002 the World Orienteering Ski Championships, as well as several stages of the Alpine Ski World Cup on its 20 slopes. In addition, the annualSamokov cross-country race is held in February.

Here you can enjoy a snowmobile ride, take part in a private snowboard lesson or enjoy some relaxation at the Sapareva Banya spa village.

5 - Zermatt, Switzerland

monte cervino innevato zermatt This ski resort is famous for being located at the foot of the Matterhorn, the famous pyramid-shaped mountain located between Italy and southern Switzerland, in fact the ski slopes of the area connect it to the Italian resorts of Valtournenche and Breuil-Cervinia. To be precise, Zermatt is located in Canton Valais at an altitude of 1,600 metres.

It is a place that developed as early as the 1920s and today offers not only ski slopes but also a series of skating rinks and in addition a street dotted with clubs, boutiques, shops, hotels, restaurants and bars where lively après-ski events are held every day. The beauty of Zermatt, however, is its perfect preservation of the typical Swiss atmosphere!

And for lovers of snow-covered landscapes, the Gornergrat cogwheel train departs from Zermatt, whose route allows one to admire peaks such as the Rothorn, the Klein Matterhorn and the famous Matterhorn. Finally, another wonderful activity not to be missed is the cable car ascent to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, Europe's highest mountain station at 3,883 metres.

Family holidays

6 - Lisbon, Portugal

lisbona al tramonto Despite being renowned for its nightlife, Lisbon is actually also ideal for a family trip, as there are plenty of attractions for children, especially when it comes to nature. The first attraction to visit is undoubtedly the Oceanarium, one of the largest sea museums in the world. This explains the city's strong connection to the Atlantic Ocean through huge tanks housing as many as 15,000 specimens of plants and fish, a unique and much-loved attraction, for which we recommend you buy your ticket in advance.

Less famous than the Oceanarium, but still extremely interesting, is the Pavilhão Do Conhecimento, a technological and scientific museum for children whose most famous and popular exhibition is the one dedicated to dinosaurs and the birth of life on earth.

Among the attractions for the youngest visitors is the zoo, with 120 years of work behind it and no less than 2,000 specimens of 400 different species. Also nearby are The Animax amusement park and the Adventure Park with trails and bridges through the trees. The city's main museums and attractions are included in the Lisbon Card, a tourist pass that also includes unlimited transport.

7 - London, United Kingdom

Among the activities, we cannot fail to mention the Harry Potter-themed walking tour, which will take you to the famous Platform 9 and 3/4. Lovers of the Wizarding World can also visit the set of the Harry Potter films by joining the Warner Bros. Studio tour with transfer included.

But it doesn't end there, the city offers much more, such as the Wax Museum (we recommend the skip-the-line ticket), London Zoo, M&M's World, Lego Shop and more!

Moreover, this city is always festive and full of events of all kinds. 8 - Munich, Germany

It's agreat starting point for visiting Bavaria's castles, such as the famous Neuschwanstein, the castle that inspired Disney for its fairy tales, which can be reached via convenient organised tours with transfers.

9 - Berlin, Germany

monumento di berlino The German capital has many museums that are ideal for families, including the most famous ones such as the Wax Museum(entrance from €22.00), the Videogame Museum, the Little Big City, which presents a miniature reproduction of the city, and the Natural History Museum(entrance from €8.00), where you can admire one of the few original T-Rex skeletons in Europe.

Worthy of a special mention is the Legoland Discovery Centre(entrance from €16.00), an engaging Lego-themed park that will keep children busy and focused with its colourful brick-building trail, building workshop and small roller coaster.

TheAquadom & Sea Life Berlin(admission from €16.00) comes next for discovering all, but really all, of the marine fauna. Also not to be missed is a ride on the MS Moby Dick, a tourist boat in the shape of a whale travelling on the waters of the Havel and Wannsee that is sure to make your children fall in love with the design alone!

10 - Copenhagen, Denmark

14 - Ljubljana, Slovenia

16 - Dublin, Ireland

Home of Jameson Whiskey and Guinness Beer, which we recommend you sample during a visit with tasting at the Guinness Storehouse, it is a young and bubbly city, full of pubs and clubs to be discovered with special tours in the name of fun!

17 - Barcelona, Spain

18 - Prague, Czech Republic

So-called'Pub Crawls' have even been invented, consisting of real alcohol tours within the city! It is not for nothing that Prague is Europe's most party capital, where boredom is impossible and most tourists come precisely for its nightlife.
Fairy-tale by day with ancient streets full of history and fascinating monuments, buzzing by night among the thousands of clubs of all kinds on Wenceslas Square.

19 - Budapest

Itconsists of two large districts: Buda, the old city, and Pest, the new. It is precisely in the latter that the Hungarian capital's nightlife is concentrated, where both locals and tourists meet, finding a huge choice of large discos with more than five rooms (each with a different musical genre), red-light clubs, Irish-style pubs and kert bars, particular bars with gardens carved out of ruined buildings and furnished in an artistic manner.

Any ideas on how to spend an epic night in Budapest? Start with an evening cruise with unlimited prosecco, to admire the city from a crazy perspective and at the same time usher in the wild fun. Then continue with a tour of the Ruin Pubswhich are old dilapidated buildings turned into crazy places to drink late into the night.

And to recover from your hangover, relax the next day in one of Budapest's wonderful thermal baths, such as the Széchenyi Baths.

20 - Amsterdam

The coffee shops and famous 'shop windows' attract thousands of tourists every year in search of wild nights and lots of fun! You can, for example, take a tour of the Red Light District or a walking tour among coffee shops and marijuana.
