A beautiful historical trail with origins in the Early Middle Ages, it stretches across the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, passing through the provinces of Pavia, Piacenza, Parma, Massa Carrara. The path is quite demanding: with an elevation gain of almost 6,000 meters, it winds through trails, mule tracks, and dirt roads, crossing valleys and ridges. There is also an official website.
