Los Angeles is known worldwide as the center of the film industry and for its glamorous lifestyle, with neighborhoods such as Beverly Hills and Hollywood. The itinerary includes some of the main highlights of Los Angeles, while excluding museums and attractions that would require too much time to visit or that are located at a considerable distance!
Transportation options are numerous, and you will necessarily need to take public transport, so we recommend purchasing the 1-Day Pass. The itinerary starts in one of Los Angeles' iconic neighborhoods: Beverly Hills, the trendiest area in Los Angeles, where it's not uncommon to meet a celebrity. Then head to Hollywood, with its iconic Walk of Fame, to find your idol's star!
After lunch, take the shuttle to the Griffith Observatory, one of the city's most scenic spots, from where you can also see the Hollywood sign. In the mid-afternoon, head to Downtown, where you can stroll through the markets of Olvera Street and admire the outside of the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Finally, spend the evening right in Downtown, one of the trendiest neighborhoods in all of Los Angeles! Here, fun and nightlife options abound.

1 - Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills
Start this exciting day in Los Angeles by visiting one of its most iconic neighborhoods: we're talking about Beverly Hills (Get directions)! The most famous street is Rodeo Drive, lined with tall palm trees and home to some of the most glamorous shops in Los Angeles. This street has appeared in countless films, such as "Pretty Woman" or "Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood" by Quentin Tarantino.
Enjoy a stroll along Rodeo Drive, maybe doing some shopping, as you will find the world's biggest and most prestigious brands here! Perhaps stop for a takeaway coffee or a smoothie, and soak in the neighborhood's atmosphere!

2 - Hollywood Boulevard and Walk of Fame
To reach this stop: 12 min by taxi (Get directions).
Once you finish your visit to Beverly Hills, take the bus line 4 or 704 (30 min) to the Hollywood neighborhood, or alternatively opt for a taxi or Uber (12 min), which is definitely the most convenient option!
Here you are at one of the main spots in Los Angeles, Hollywood Boulevard, the famous and expansive street that runs through the heart of Hollywood. Head right to the most famous section of the street: the Walk of Fame, probably the most photographed sidewalk in the world. It is one of the iconic sites of Los Angeles! Here, you can look for your idol's star to take a photo, but beware: there are around 2,600 stars on the sidewalk, so arm yourself with patience!

3 - Griffith Observatory
To reach this stop: 15 min by taxi (Get directions).
After lunch in Hollywood, from Hollywood / Vine Station, take the Metro B Line (Red) to Vermont / Sunset Station (5 min), from where shuttles depart to the Griffith Observatory! This is the famous observatory used as a location in many films, such as in "La La Land". More than an inside visit, enjoy a couple of hours to explore the massive park around it, but stay near the observatory.
From here, you can also see the large Hollywood sign, which has overlooked the city since 1923. Its letters are 15 feet tall, so it's visible from various parts of the city, but this is definitely one of the best spots! Don't miss it!

4 - Olvera Street
To reach this stop: 15 min by metro (Get directions).
Once you return via shuttle to Vermont / Sunset Station, take the Metro B Line (Red) and reach Union Square Station (15 min). From here, under 10 min on foot, you can reach Olvera Street, a place that will take you back in time! Los Angeles was founded in 1781 by Spanish missionaries who settled just near this street.
Here you can stroll among typical little shops and craft stalls, with music coming from everywhere, scents, and colors! The best way to enjoy this area is by walking and immersing yourself in its atmosphere! But the day is not over yet, so don't take it too easy!

5 - Walt Disney Concert Hall
To reach this stop: 15 min on foot (Get directions).
From Olvera Street, you can walk to the Downtown area, the heart of the city, the financial center with the tallest skyscrapers. And while walking, be sure to stop in front of the Walt Disney Concert Hall! With its extravagant and futuristic architecture, it certainly does not go unnoticed! Designed by Frank Gehry, it is the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
The interiors are open for visits only at certain times, mainly in the morning, so we recommend admiring it only from the outside and taking a photo! As you will see, its shape resembles a sailing ship or a blooming flower, and it is built with stainless steel panels. Enjoy a stroll in the Blue Ribbon Garden, a beautiful garden that grows right beside the building, offering spectacular views of the city along with numerous plants and sculptures.

Activities and Ideas for Alternative Itineraries
Los Angeles is a really large city, and transportation can take a lot of time! For example, to visit the coast, particularly Venice Beach and Santa Monica, you should plan on the whole afternoon, as they are 30 min by car (traffic permitting) and almost an hour via public transport from downtown.
The city also boasts numerous museums for all tastes: one of the most famous is the Getty Center (free), with a visit requiring at least half a day; the technical science museum Museum of Jurassic Technology; and the LACMA, the most important art museum on the West Coast of the United States. Among the lesser-known ones, don't miss the Autry Museum of the American West, which shares the history of the West and Native Americans.
Los Angeles is also the city of great theme parks! You will find: the Universal Studios (ticket with easy cancellation), the first Disneyland theme park, and the Warner Bros. Studios, where you can tour movie sets! Unfortunately, each of these parks requires at least half a day's visit.
