Caressed by a light and constant sea breeze, it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Aruba and is famous for its vibrant nightlife and diverse recreational opportunities. There are many activities available on-site, suitable for all temperaments: from peaceful walks to thrilling water sports like Banana Boat, snorkeling, or parasailing.

Where is it located?

Aruba is a relatively small island, easy to navigate and explore. The coastline from Palm Beach to Eagle Beach is located on the northwestern coast, about 10 km north of Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. It lies in the High-rise Hotels area, which hosts the largest and most luxurious hotels and resorts in Aruba, including the famous Riu Palace.

How to get there?

Palm Beach is less than 10 km from the capital Oranjestad. There are several ways to reach it:

  • by car, for example, about a 20/30 minute drive depending on traffic conditions; car rental in Aruba starts at $35 per day (approximately €31.70)
  • by taxi, which do not have meters, as there is a fixed fare system starting with a minimum fare of $7 (approximately €6.30)
  • by bus line 10, which travels the entire length of Palm Beach with a frequency of every 15 minutes, and a round trip ticket costs around $5 (approximately €4.50)

Among the things to know about Eagle Beach is that it won the TripAdvisor Traveler Award 2019 as the third best beach in the world.

The sand is white and soft, and the area is equipped with ample parking, shaded areas, changing cabins, and service points for engaging in water sports.

Additionally, along the beach you will find several trees characterized by a unique shape. We are talking about the fofoti trees, the most photographed in Aruba due to their distinctive shape, which leans towards the Caribbean.

Furthermore, this island is home to the habitat of 5 species of sea turtles.

Finally, a curious tradition of the island is to organize a large camp right on Palm Beach, which is attended by local families during Holy Week.
